Chairman of Rangers International FC Foundation, Coach Ebere Amaraizu, led family members, friends, and associates in paying tributes to his mother-in-law, late Mrs. Janet Chukwumezie Ezeonodo.
The requiem mass held at St. Paul’s Catholic Parish, Ifiteani-Agulu, Anaocha LGA, drew a large gathering, as Very Rev. Fr. Prof. Obiefune Boniface urged the faithful to live prepared and purposeful lives.
“Death awaits everyone and can come at any time,” the cleric said. “We must continue to believe in the Word of God, care for one another, and live generously, just as the departed lived.”
Speaking, Mrs. Ebere Amaraizu described her late mother as a builder, pillar, and woman of faith who raised her children with values of hard work, truth, and sacrifice.

“She lived a life that continues to guide us. We will miss her, but we remain committed to the values she upheld,” she said.
Her son, Engr. Chinwike Theophilus Ezeonodu, said his mother taught him the importance of faith and purposeful living.
“She showed me how to love God and live meaningfully. That is a legacy I will always cherish,” he stated.
The ceremony attracted dignitaries from across the country, including personalities from the entertainment industry.
Nollywood actors Chika Okpala and Nkem Owoh, in their condolence messages, described the deceased as a pillar and dependable figure who contributed positively to those around her.
The late Mrs. Janet Chukwumezie Ezeonodo was remembered as a devout Catholic and community figure whose life was marked by generosity, truth, and service to others.
She is survived by children, in-laws, and grandchildren.
May her soul rest in peace.
