The Bishop of the Royal Episcopal Evangelical Communion Cathedral Owerri Diocese, Bishop Festus Nwaodu had admonished couples to cherish and love one another as Christ Loved the church.
Bishop Nwaodu stated this recently at the Church Cathedral Orji, while officiating the wedding church service between Davison Kelechi Nwaodu, and Munachimso Kelechukwu Davison.

Bishop, Nwaodu, with a warm presence that filled the cathedral, began with a sermon drawn from Genesis 2:19.
With authoritative and compassionate voice, he spoke about the importance of cherishing one another in marriage.
“If you want your marriage to be sweet, you have to love and cherish each other. Remember, marriage does not have a particular formula.
” In Genesis 2 from 19, God cost Adam a deep sleep before Eve was given to him. So Davison should cherish his wife, while Munachimso will love him, because marriage was established by God
“In marriage, a man and a woman willingly join themselves together in love and become one, as even as Christ to the Church ”
His words, infused with wisdom, reminded the couples that love should flourish like a garden nurtured by care and respect.
He prayed for Munachimso and Davison, asking God to guide them toward a love that mirrored His unwavering devotion.
Speaking, Davison said.
“Today, I stand here not just as a groom but as a man who has received his heart’s desire.
He spoke of the compassion that Munachimso extended to him from the very beginning, a light in his life that had transformed him.
“I am excited because God gave me my heart desire, i promise to love her and cherish her every day. She is my blessing,”
He thanked their guests, the church community, and especially Bishop Nwaodu, whom he called his father and mentor.
While Munachimso said .
“I thank God for bringing me the man after my heart. You are my perfect match, Davison.
“Your kindness, strength, and support have encouraged me to be the best version of myself. I promise to fulfill my role as your loving wife, to build a home filled with laughter and compassion with you.”
They had begun a journey together not just of two individuals, but of two families united in love and faith, surrounded by the support of their family and under the watchful blessing of Bishop Nwaodu,
