As the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) begins new season in the country, the Chief Executive Officer of First Mahi Babes Football Club, Prince Chidiebere Onuoha has called for massive support to the Heartland Queens Owerri.
Onuoha said that the right time for the stakeholders, government officials including the market women and the entire Imolites irrespective of their ideologies to throw their weight behond the female club is now.
He advised the people of the state to put aside their blames on either the coaches or the management and give whatever support they can that would help the club to succeed in the new season.
According to him their support when massively given would rather serve as a moral boaster that would ginger and enable them to go into the league fully fortified with the target to compete and wine their matches.
Onuoha pointed out that it would be a disaster and shameful thing for the club to go on relegation now, the same way the male team did.
He said: ” don’t wait till when the club would lose their matches for you to blame them, instead support and encourage them now to perform creditable well”.
The CEO appealed to every Imolites to avail themselves of every opportunity and come out in good numbers to cheer up the players during their first encounter in the state.
He beckoned on club owners in the state to rally their quantum support to the club which is regarded as our own in the state.
To the club, Prince Onuoha charged them to be focus and determined to face their opponents during the encounter, this way, they will be able to remain on top of the table.
