The Chief Executive Officer of First Mahi female club, Ebonyi State Prince Chidiebere Eze Onuoha has assured the club’s determination to bring back the old glory of Ebonyi State Angel female team
This is as the team prepares to participate in the Second Tire of Nigeria Women’s league scheduled to hold between 11th-22nd September,2025 at Umuahia in Abia State
Onuoha while speaking to Nigerian Tribune Sports in Owerri on Wednesday, vowed that the club’s good intention which is to bring honour to the state will not be compromised for any reason.
He said that already the club has some players who are from Abakeleke including their assistant coach, assuring that all hands are on deck to ensure that the club is qualified in the up coming championship.
He applauded the Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwaifuru and his wife for their good work in the state which is an eloquent testimony of result oriented and selfless service to the people of Ebonyi State
Prince Onuoha assured that the club will leverage on the encouragement of the Governor to improve the Abakeleke female team by ensuring victory at the championship.
While expressing his optimism that the club will come back with victory, the CEO Onuoha calls for both prayers and support from the people of the state and other individuals to the club to succeed in their up coming competitions.
