The Royal Episcopal Evangelical Communion Owerri, ends 2026 Mount Moriah with Thanksgiving and Testimonies

The 2026 Prophetic Mount Moriah of the Royal Episcopal Evangelical Communion Owerri concluded on a glorious and uplifting note with a grand thanksgiving and stirring testimonies session that left every attendee filled with hope and renewed faith.

This event, held annually, had drawn church members and guests from far and near for weeks of intense worship, powerful teachings, and divine encounters.

Bishop Festus Nwaodu, the spiritual overseer of the communion, described the program as a highly inspired initiative that has become a pivotal part of the church’s mission.

“This program was birthed out of divine inspiration. It is designed not only as a time of evangelism, crusade, and liberation but also as a platform where people’s lives are transformed and souls saved.”

Throughout the event, many had come to experience the power of God in various manifestations miracles of healing, deliverance from bondage, and a deepened passion for the gospel.

 

Bishop Nwaodu emphasized that beyond the outward demonstrations, the program has taught members valuable lessons in giving and sacrifice.

“Mount Moriah holds significant religious and historical importance, particularly within the traditions of Judaism, Christianity.

“In (Genesis 22), Mount Moriah is the location where Abraham was commanded by God to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice.

“This event, known as the binding of Isaac, is a foundational story demonstrating faith and obedience.

Bishop Nwaodu further emphasized that Mount Moriah is traditionally identified as the site where King Solomon built the First Temple in Jerusalem, the central place of worship for the ancient Israelites.

“Mount Moriah symbolizes faith, sacrifice, and divine encounter in religious traditions.
It remains a focal point of religious devotion and a source of historical identity and spiritual inspiration.

He added that true worship is not
complete without the spirit of generosity and the willingness to surrender all to God. ”

“This season, many have learned to lay down their burdens and offerings as a testament to their faith.”T

he thanksgiving and testimonies session was marked by heartfelt expressions of gratitude from members who shared their personal breakthroughs and blessings.

From financial breakthroughs and restored relationships to divine direction and spiritual empowerment, countless stories affirmed the power of the prophetic Mount Moriah experience.

Bishop Nwaodu advised the congregation to continue praying unto God with joy and steadfastness.

“Be patient for your blessings are on the way. Keep the faith, keep the fire burning, and watch as God manifests His promises in your lives.”

Speaking during the program, Most Rev Prof.Samuel Baaba expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for the privilege of being one of the guests

He described Bishop Nwaodu as a man of honour and commended him for successfully bringing people together in unity.

Bishop Baaba encouraged members to embody the spirit of obedience, reminding them that Abraham never disobeyed God, adding that sacrifice is essential to the service of God

Similarly, His grace, most Rev. Alabi Abraham, characterized the program as a yearly retreat, highlighting that even bishops receive their miracles during the event.

He urged everyone to make it a point to attend the program regularly to experience its blessings.

Rt Rev. Chima Elijah Isaac, expressed his excitement about being part of the program, emphasizing that it helps people reconnect with the love of Christ.

Stressing that mount Moriah being a retreat center is a time when Christians bring back their love for God and understand the benefit of sacrifice.

He discribed mount Moriah as a prophetic conjunction and instruction, an eye opener to a lot of people who should go back to the drawing board to understand the mistry about the Christianity race.

He advised Christians to kill their Isaac inorder to attract God’s blessings.

Rev Canon Benjamin Okechukwu described Mount Moriah as a prayer convention, an annual event held every January that gathers people for worship, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.

 

He said, he keeps giving God the glory, praise and Thanksgiving because his family have benefited immensely from the prayer program.

He pointed out that the program will open the eyes of many, especially in the spiritual perspective, when they understand whom God is and what he can do in the lives of His generation.

Canon Okechukwu discribed Bishop Nwaodu as a wonderful servant of God, very humble, very committed, very focused, a goal getter, one who uses the idiology of let us go, as far as leadership is concerned.

Lady Nwachukwu Amarachi also said.
“Last time i attended this program, i experienced changes in my family, especially in my business.

Last year’s mount Moriah not only saved me but turned around so many things for good in my family.

I am happy being part of the program this year, because i know i will not remain the same at the end of the program.

“We are here to thank God, worship Him and seek for His blessings.

“I thank God for the opportunity to be here today. God did it for me, the first mount Moriah that took place here, i shew a seed of what I have and it elevated me.

“I urge people to give willingly with open heart, knowing that God is a rewarder”.

 

The 2026 Prophetic Mount Moriah was not just a program, but a divine movement shaping the destiny of the Royal Episcopal Evangelical Communion Owerri.
